My husband recently took our mower to our local lawn mower repairman. His reaction was not what we expected. ” That ##!**## thing is worthless, you’re better off buying a new mower for $100,” he said as our Lawn Boy was unloaded from back of our van. It had been in our barn for years, but now I needed a small mower to mow the paths in my flower bed. We remembered it as a good mower. “Just check it out, maybe it only needs a new spark plug and tune-up,” was my husband’s reply. We’ve yet to hear what the prognosis is. Next time we go, we’re taking earplugs. Anyone want to come to the defense of a Lawn Boy mower?
